Hydrolipoclasis is a non-surgical body contouring treatment that breaks down localized fat deposits using a hypotonic saline solution. Ideal for those stubborn areas — abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms — that don't respond to diet or exercise.
A hypotonic solution (sterile water with electrolytes) is injected into subcutaneous fat. The osmotic pressure causes adipocytes (fat cells) to swell, become destabilized, and rupture. The released fat content is then metabolized by the body and eliminated naturally over weeks.
Abdomen (lower belly, love handles), flanks ("muffin top"), back (bra rolls), arms (upper arm bulge), inner thighs, knees (knee fat), chin (double chin). Best for localized deposits — not a weight loss treatment.
4–6 sessions spaced 2 weeks apart. Each session: 30–45 minutes. Mild discomfort during injection (similar to insulin needle). Visible reduction starts at session 3. Final results 3 months after the last session as full fat metabolism completes.
Hydrolipoclasis + ultrasound: enhanced fat membrane disruption. Hydrolipoclasis + radiofrequency: simultaneous skin tightening as fat reduces. Hydrolipoclasis + lymphatic drainage: faster elimination and reduced bruising.
Mild swelling and possible bruising at injection sites for 3–7 days. Compression garment recommended for 7 days post-treatment. Increase water intake (3+ liters/day) to support fat elimination. Avoid intense exercise 48h. Most patients return to normal activities immediately.
Hydrolipoclasis reduces localized fat deposits but is NOT liposuction. Expected reduction: 2–5 cm circumference per session series. Best for patients within their healthy weight range with stubborn localized fat. Lifestyle (diet, exercise, hydration) significantly impacts results.
